Crusaders Head to Spain

Crusaders Soccer Club is proud to announce our official invitation to the Showcase Ebora Internacional, an elite international event hosted by Ebora Formación in Toledo, Spain.

This international showcase is for our Boys 2011 and 2012 and represents an exciting new partnership for our club. With an aim to make this trip a recurring yearly experience, we will be able to extend this opportunity to more players in the future.

More than 40 eligible boys attended recent tryouts in hopes of making the travel roster. We are excited to announce the Crusaders’ roster for this international stage. We could not be more proud of this group.

Tournament Overview

Dates: July 13–19
Location: Toledo, Spain
Host Facility: Ébora Formación

The team will stay on-site at the Ébora Formación facility in Toledo, Spain, just 45 minutes from Madrid. Players will live together in dorm-style housing, creating a focused and professional environment throughout the week, and all games will be played here. The centralized setup allows the group to train, compete and recover in one location — an experience designed to mirror a high-level academy setting.

Over the course of the tournament, Crusaders will play nine games against teams from six countries: USA, Mexico, Spain, China, Japan and Morocco. The week is centered on elite international competition and development opportunities, with scouts present at all matches.

Beyond tournament play, the team will spend a day in Madrid, where players will visit the world-famous stadiums of Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid.

At the conclusion of the tournament, three MVPs will be selected. Those players will earn a one-month scholarship to remain at the Ébora Formación facility, continue training and participate in additional scouting opportunities with local Spanish clubs.

This trip is about more than travel. It is about competing on a global stage, experiencing the game in a new culture and continuing to raise the standard for Crusaders Soccer Club. Stay tuned for updates on preparations for the tournament and live action from Spain!
