We’re thrilled to announce that Crusaders Soccer Club is teaming up with Chula Vista FC to co-host the first annual Verano Cup. This highly competitive youth soccer tournament will be held August 16 and 17 in San Diego County!
Our partnership with Chula Vista FC brings together two powerhouse clubs to organize an event that will welcome elite-level teams from across the region.
THE VERANO CUP
The Verano Cup is a Class 1 Tournament open to USYS, US Club Soccer, USSSA and FIFA-affiliated teams. As a US Club Soccer-sanctioned event, all players with 2024/2025 or 2025/2026 player cards are eligible to participate.
The tournament will provide opportunities for teams of all levels to compete in a structured, supportive environment. Every team is guaranteed three games, with no coaching conflicts for up to two teams. Game options will be available to all of the following leagues:

MLS Next
ECNL
GA
E64
DPL
EA
National League
ECRL
NPL
Beyond the competition, the Verano Cup promotes sportsmanship, teamwork and community engagement, making it a must-attend event.

Teams: Boys and Girls
Ages: 2007 – 2020
Deadline: Midnight on July 21, 2025
All teams must register even if you don’t have your full roster yet.
